Donald Trump is ready to get started on executing his agenda.
According to a report from Axios, the president-elect is preparing 100 separate executive orders for his first day in office.
In a meeting with Senate Republicans on Wednesday evening, Trump made clear that his primary focus will be on securing the border and ending the flow of illegal immigration.
The conversation was reportedly led by his policy chief Stephen Miller, who outlined how the president will use his executive authority to his advantage.
Among their plans include the reinstatement of Title 42, a rule introduced during the COVID era to prevent the flow of illegal aliens and expedite their removal.
Also on the agenda will be using the Immigration and Nationality Act that will enable state and local law enforcement to help provide extra manpower to the deportation process.
Back in December, Miller promised that Trump would begin the “largest deportation operation in American history” from the moment he entered office.
He explained:
John Thune and Lindsey Graham have promised that they can get a full funding package for the border, the most significant border security investment in American history, which would be the biggest domestic policy win in at least 50 years, to the president’s desk in January or early February.”
That would mean a historic increase in border agents, a pay raise for both full funding for military operations, full funding for ice beds, full funding for air marine operations, full funding for all of the barriers and technology that you need to ensure there’s never another got away entering this country.
Now, President Trump, regardless on day one, is going to issue a series of executive orders that seal the border shut and begin the largest deportation operation in American history.
In a separate interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Miller assured that “everything in the world” will change when Trump takes back the White House.
“Everything in the world is going to change on January 20th because the President of the United States is going to use every single legal, diplomatic, and financial tool to halt the entry of all illegal aliens into this country,” he explained.
“There will be no benefits. There will be no entry. There will be no asylum. There will be no admission. You may be prosecuted. You will certainly be arrested, and you will absolutely be deported.”
